A retired colleague has unearthed her father's L.C. Smith and wants me to restore it. I think it dates from around 1920, but at the moment the serial number is covered in rust and dust, like most of the machine. Can I get it typing and working? Stay tuned. Meanwhile, I'm off to QWERTYFEST '25!
Looks like you're going to have your hands full with that one. Might be easier to build a space shuttle in your back yard. Regardless, can't wait to see the finished product. Keep us updated.
