The Scienc...Great tour, thank you for the pictures!<br />The Science Museum has (had at least) a national collection of typewriters. In 1938 they published a book to go with the collection/exhibition. The History and Development of Typewriters by Tilghman Richards, 1938. Sometimes pops up online, like the exhibits you pictured a very interesting read :-)RobertGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01841652527282627317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8655653784122131754.post-88715546336648814752016-07-07T21:23:06.262-04:002016-07-07T21:23:06.262-04:00That has got to be a very interesting museum. In an age where everything is powered electrically (and most somewhat mechanical items only use small plastic motors that cant be seen), I'ts nice to remember the hulking behemoths that began it all. Early steam engines are especially fascinating.Words are Wingedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07427885896085053444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8655653784122131754.post-38414918361006764452016-07-07T17:06:56.640-04:002016-07-07T17:06:56.640-04:00I believe it will be the oldest machine on the Dat...I believe it will be the oldest machine on the Database.Richard Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16232053429935587826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8655653784122131754.post-71856937264943367892016-07-07T17:06:38.882-04:002016-07-07T17:06:38.882-04:00I was hoping that you would!I was hoping that you would!Richard Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16232053429935587826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8655653784122131754.post-70208474605709547032016-07-07T16:51:28.010-04:002016-07-07T16:51:28.010-04:00Heh, should I add a category for "Pterotype&q...Heh, should I add a category for "Pterotype" to the TWDB so you can add this sighting? :DTedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16774432656602082311noreply@blogger.com
