Ode to Spitzfaden's

  1. These Remingtons are some of my favourites... Can I say that I love the gold paint effect? It adds a certain prestige factor without being all too, well, bling. They are fairly chunky machines, but something about them is just right. They've got good mileage, methinks.

  2. Of course, Rino, feel free to write love letters to my typewriters anytime. (Or say you hate them! All opinions welcome ...)

  3. Hm, my quiet-riter writing to your quiet-riter..? This gives me an idea for a story; a loose analogy for the interwebs.

  6. I love it!

Sounds like the Olivetti is being used as a USB typewriter, so that every keystroke is recorded and put under surveillance. -- I'm not given to paranoia, but I am getting more and more serious about the value of privacy and typewriting as a way to preserve it.
