Short-Order Poetry at the MPMF

One of our WordPlay kids came downtown with Program Coordinator Kirsten Zook ...

... and was soon participating in the fun.

The poetry-making accelerated as night fell ...

... until poems filled the clothesline.

Here's an account of last year's Short-Order Poetry event on the Chase Public blog.

  2. I love your poem, well done. This sounds like a fantastic idea. I hope it will spread to Australia.

  3. Sounds like a great event. Great that typewriters are getting use. Perhaps the insurgency will grow exponentially.
Ah, there is fall in boring Florida; the temperature drops a few degrees and the days get shorter. I still miss the North. Nice poem.

  5. Look at that girl and that Olympia! Gooooorgeous.

It may not surprise some people, but something similar is in the works down here in AU. But Shhhh... secret stuff. More soon.
