  1. That Royal 10 is a beauty!

I have a newer model (single glass pane) that is in urgent need of a complete functional restoration, I might send it to Mr. Trenado next month.

  2. That 10 sure is gorgeous.
What surprises me the most about Royal is their insistence on using that nightly fragile escapement mechanism right up till the KMM. At heat mostly a Royal 1. Until that "magic" grey!

    1. Do we have some autocorrect peculiarities going on here? Anyway, I was not aware of the change in escapement design. I should look into that.

    2. I have a love/hate relationship with autocorrect on my Samsung tablet. It can be helpful one time, and things can go very, very wrong the next.

  3. Grand looking Royal 10!

I've had a Royal 10 on hte wish list for years. One day I hope to find one that does not need shipped.

  4. I wish I could fix up the Royal 10 I found at the local thrift joint, but I'm happy with my FPP. I was able to test the carriage shift on it, and it's much lighter than I expected! Great find!

  5. Of course, 1921 has it all over that "Let's be like the military" madness.

  6. I love my Royal 10, pulled from a neighbor's garbage can in the late 1960's. I liked the elite font for postcards and letters home, and annotating 3X5 library file cards keeping track of my collection of reel-to-reel music collection.
