  3. Congratulations, you've got something in rougher condition than my Oliver #9. What did you do? ink the slugs by hand and press the paper against them, sequentially? No way that thing has parts that actually move!

  9. I agree with MTC - no way that thing typed your text! I think this is a bit of trickery here - something else with moving parts must have typed, otherwise you wouldn't have enough force to puncture a hole through the "o" in polishing. But what? And how? Sometimes, if I forget to re-engage the paper release, I get crooked letters...

    Clever post all round! Excellent for April 1.
