It will go interesting places, believe me. And I don't take credit for that. I'm ripping off the whole plot from the oldest story in the world, Gilgamesh -- a story I've never read. Instead, I listened to it during a car trip about 4 years ago and it made a deep impact. I haven't even glanced at the text and don't want to this month; I am going on what I remember, which is obviously what struck me as most significant, and elaborating on it.
I haven't read Gilgamesh either - to be honest, I'm not even sure what it's about. I think your method is yielding impressive results though, carry on! (:
