Like many other technologies, it's an "and", not an "or". You can to use when it suits the situation, ignore it when it doesn't. It's just a tool. Personally, I use it in conjunction with plain old paper maps to find my way to new typewriters! I'm glad we have it.
I agree. Besides, for me, maps made out of paper are easier to use for me. I still remember the horrible disaster that I lived when I moved from Oaxaca City (Mexico) to Morelia (capitol and main city of the state of Michoacan, Mexico) caused by Google Maps, and how I could correct those horrible errors with a map. xD

ReplyDeleteI love getting lost, I always get there eventually in a roundabout way. It's the roundabout way that makes the journey interesting and exciting.

ReplyDeleteI've gotten the wrong directions most often from computer maps and GPS. I like real paper maps--still the best.
