Very sad day due to France and the Church both dropping the ball on proper maintenance of the Cathedral. Church fires are some of the worst to battle. I can only imagine what the Paris firefighters were up against. If only someone would have called the fire brigade on the first sounding of the alarm damage may have been much less.
