I haven't joined the crowds myself, but it's inspiring to see that millions around the world care about justice more than health or even life. Of course, the situation is made more complicated by the fact that young people (like most of the protestors in this photo) are very unlikely to die from Covid-19, but they may pass it on to more vulnerable groups. No political situation is perfectly unambiguous. At least most protestors are wearing masks.
Today in Amsterdam 10.000 + people demonstrated, we are slowly reopening as 6000 people died of covid-19 (population of 17 million).
It is a bit frightening to see the mass demonstrations here and all over the world as the Corona virus is still lingering..but life and all life matters..
Impossible to look at such a crowd in our present circumstances and not be ambivalent.
