The tripod is built into the carrying case of the Underwood and folds out. It's very clever and convenient. And yes, she got the dog cookie (with peanut butter)!
Do you sit there without any sign standing next to you with some sort of explenation or a headline or anything? Or is that part just not visible on the photos? I'm curious because if I'd see someone sitting around with a typewriter, my first guess would be that the person is writing for himself/herself and I might be shy to go over and ask. Sorry if you mentioned it somewhere and I missed it.
