Cool gift for WordPlay. I want to claim the identity of donor but I did not send that Olivetti. Is it just the lighting or is that Studio 44 missing its signature ribbing?
It does have the ribbing, but it's hard to see in this photo.
Update: mystery solved! The kind donor (who has some creative ideas for typewriters herself) has contacted me.
