ain't those big Rem 10s fabulous?
Yes, it is indeed. xD
I thinks this is a splendid way of proceeding. Really clears thoughts and soothes the mind. What's next? I am new to Instagram, but sense that it is a major pollutor when set on push-messages mode. However, as Paracelsus said, "dosis facit venenum", so a poison-free morning will resfresh you enough for the necessary online business in the rest of the day.
I agree. xDEven I got pretty stressed spending the whole day in front of a computer. Earning money by computer wears oneself out soon. xDNow, among books, codexes and my typewriter, I feel like a professional writer. xD
I've started wearing a watch. Then I can leave my phone behind sometimes when I go places and still tell what time it is.
I strive for getting a wind-up alarm clock and a wind-up wristwatch or a wind-up pocket watch. I love mechanical technology. xD
This sounds heavenly. A more thoughtful day in the office.
One way to de-digitize is revert to a dumb phone. I still resist having anything but a dumb phone. I can do all I want with it -- communicate. However I can't get away from a PC until I retire.Sounds like you have a great schedule.
Believe in me: I miss my Motorola F3. Just calling and sending SMS' xDThat battery used to last even until three weeks!. :DI started to retire from Internet. I just check out e-mails, and the four social networks I still keep with me (VK, Telegram, DeviantArt, Pixiv), without mentioning my blog. I deleted a bunch of network profiles, starting with Facebook and Twitter. xD
OK xDThen, be prepared. I'll send you my critique about your lovely book by snail mail. xDNow, I live in Morelia (Michoacan). And I study Literature. So I use the typewriter quite a lot:http://typewriterdatabase.com/1974-olivetti-lettera-31.6368.typewriterI also am into de-toxing myself from digital invassion. xDNow, I go to libraries instead of Wikipedia.
i just came back from vacationing in June Lake, CA, about 15min from Mammoth. The lake water in its slow rush. The whistling wind flowing through the trees. The undisturbed clean mountain air. There was no wireless there. We walked and hiked and even drove up to Yosemite for a whole day. I brought a typewriter. It was majestic.Your post reminds me that i need to put mine up.And as for your Rem Noiseless, it's doing better than this Noiseless i just happen to come across:http://slo.craigslist.org/atq/5714930795.htmlHope you're well, Richard.
Rusty but beautiful machine - I'm tempted to drive down to Atascadero. That tiger decal is the best.
Since I have no choice but to work on a computer five days a week, I'm trying to digitally detox my weekends completely. Nice ragged edge! ;)
I like this idea - but unfortunately I'm more tied to email than ever! Maybe someday...
As a current chair, interestingly enough, I not only gave up my "smart" phone for a flip phone, but decided that, short of a burning building, I did not need to constantly check email. In fact, I unplug from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and we are no worse for the wear.
