Just some miscellaneous images for your amusement ...
Seen in the stationery aisle at T. J. Maxx:
... in the book section at Cincinnati's Shake It Records:
... where I saw another sinister typewriter in a collection of images from horror comics:
... and finally, a page from my agenda. Yes, I still use a paper calendar.
I do love your typewriter doodling. After the Insurgency book, there should be a volume on doodling. The St Patrick's Day example is the best yet!
ReplyDeleteVery nice art work. I enjoy your typewriter doodles and the drawings of you London trip.
ReplyDeleteI too use a paper calendar journal and have many years worth of old ones filled with notes (no doodles -- I can't draw) on my book shelf. Fun to look back at times past.
"Chamber of Chills", after reading Robert's post that could be the offices of the Canberra Times!
ReplyDeleteI love Dr. Death wearing a green eyeshade and sucking on a cancer stick pounding away on the Remington under a green industrial lamp (hey, I have one of those over my kitchen table.) Gives new meaning to the phrase 'working stiff.' Eeek a typewriter!
ReplyDeleteGotta get me an Underwood Noiseless 77 notepad! Love it how it isn't a Remington Noiseless 7 instead.
ReplyDeleteOooooh, that's a very nice notepad! I already have a notepad and paper stuff addiction. If I would walk into something like that, I couldn't just let it be, MUST BUY!
ReplyDeleteThis shows how old I am: I vaguely remember that magazine cover from back when it was new or mostly new.
