Wow.... such a powerful looking machine! So Richard Wan Kenobi types on the Death Star. ( :Indulge my curiosity, where did you find this and how does this figure in the rarity meter?
This typewriter, like the Senta 4 and the Taylorix, came from the Elster collection. They are quite common in Germany. I've admired the model for several years, but hadn't trusted anyone before to ship one overseas. Markus Elster did a wonderful job of packing it.
There's something brutal about the styling - fantastic. And it wouldn't have the same effect in lilac.
I love how nothing about the Optima is frivolous or humorous.
First time I've heard of one. It looks massive. Great photos.
I love it! I would be right at home in the Death Star. I can imagine gunnery officers typing after action reports on this machine:"Fired 2 jillion gigawatt beams at Rebel Scum Planet Aldreraan. Emitter number 7 operating at 99% efficiency. Must report Major Nadeev to Lord Vader for potential promotion."
truly... Imperial! I agree, brutal is the word.
heck of a thing. very impressive!
The ability to delete a line of text pales in comparison to the power of the Optima.
Impressive. Most impressive.
It's a brutal machine! I've never heard of this particular model. But it's absolutely astonishing.
Great photo - The Optima sits there looking like it could type on its own - who needs a human behind the keys.
Thank you for presenting this one. The "kg" is very original.
That's a wonderful machine, Richard. Thanks for sharing that.
