Open or closed?
It is interesting to peruse the range of architectural styles within which these shops find homes. Those in Massachusetts are generally the most lovely, to me. The one on 1st Street North in Wichita perhaps one of the least, at least in comparison to the wondrous castellated architecture the Wichita Scottish Rite Center nearby. But, hey, the owner appears to be a biker typer! Thanks again for the engaging tour.

ReplyDeleteIn Massachusetts, Gill Typewriter closed about eight years ago and Hunters Typewriter just closed a few months ago. Always a bummer to see a shop close. I don't think I can single out one shop as a favorite. More like ten or so!
