  1. This looks like a fun book, I look forward to reading it. That's great that you got a shout out in the book. I like his choice for 5 great portable manuals, especially the Blick 5.

  3. My copy just arrived. Made me a bit concerned at first to see something with "ID RECORDED" poking through my mail slot.

    I concur with your entire review--although I have to say that regarding my role in the book, Robert has a grossly inflated impression of me.

    Congrats on the Voss. You beat me to it by mere minutes. That's what I get for vacillating between two different ones.

    I just got off the telephone with Jessica Bruder. We spoke a lot about the typewriters and your name came up. It sounds like she is going to be writing a pretty cool piece.
