Summer escape

I should add that this experiment will probably start in mid to late June.

  1. I hope you enjoy your digital free life. It can be quite rewarding and relaxing.

My digital anything is held at a minimum. I spend very little time on line or my PC (an my blog shows it). I have a smart phone, but could just as well switch back to my flip phone as I had done about a year ago when my 'smart' phone failed, and I was too cheap to have it repaired. I have a company phone so I do not need a 'smart' phone of my own although I do have one I bought used.

If a Sphinx shows up on ebay while you're out, I'll try to get it for you. (:

  5. Oh good luck Richard, I hope you have a wonderful time. At least our analogue origins give us a head start on readjustment when we do this. Harder for the younger ones :D

  7. I look forward to your report, too. But I guess this means the blog falls silent over the summer? I'll miss your updates.

    1. Thank you. Yes, it will be silent — unless I come up with some pre-written posts that I will schedule for publishing during my absence. No promises on that, though.

  8. Hay infinidad de beneficios en dejar fuera de lo cotidiano la modernidad tecnológica. Te reconectarás con la vida, que es analoga.

    Lo aplaudo!
