Here's a look at the imperfect but lovely Rheinmetall from 1938 that I'm using for a couple of poems.

I think poems that need explaining aren't very good, but you might be curious to know that I was thinking about how events get falsified in retrospect with a false clarity, and about recording technology.

Poem #2

This one turned out to be some quasi-Nietzschean doggerel. The typewriter is a 1938 Rheinmetall with italic typeface and simulated woodgrain finish. I'll show it on the blog soon.
